Are you tired of the painful first steps out of bed or after sitting for a while? Do your feet hurt during and after a run or walk?

PlantarFix proven insoles for plantar fasciitis have been shown to help those suffering from heel pain and/or plantar fasciitis. In addition to providing relief and comfort, they are designed to address the cause of the problem by helping to align the feet correctly.

PlantarFix Orthotic Max Move Support

The PlantarFix Orthotic Max Support Pro insole is made from firm yet comfortable EVA material. It provides full arch support and prevents the feet from rolling inward when you walk or run. This relieves strain on the plantar fascia and thereby resolves the problem. Compared with Max Support Firm, it offers additional benefits:

- Extra cushioning along the top of the insole;
- More cushioning in the heel;
- Slightly more arch support.

Since this orthotic insole provides maximum support, it is particularly effective for people with high arches. If you are unsure which insoles are right for you, you can visit our help page here.

- Heel pad for extra shock absorption where it hurts most.
- Deep heel cup for extra stability.

What are orthotics for plantar fasciitis and how do they work?

If you suffer from heel pain or have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, orthotics may help. Orthotic insoles for plantar fasciitis are placed inside your shoes and worn all day. They act as shock absorbers to relieve heel pain and also provide structural support to the foot, helping to correct the cause of the problem.

What is plantar fasciitis?

It is a very common condition that affects approximately one in ten people. The plantar fascia is a thick band of tissue that extends from the heel bone to the toes along the underside of the foot. When this ligament becomes inflamed, it causes heel pain, which is known as plantar fasciitis.

 plantar fasciitis

This problem can be caused by improper foot alignment or overuse, and it is very common among runners and athletes.

Who is affected by plantar fasciitis?

In general, people who stand for long periods at work, athletes, and overweight people are prone to developing plantar fasciitis. However, for some people there is no identifiable reason why they suffer from heel pain or plantar fasciitis.

What are the symptoms of plantar fasciitis?

Although symptoms vary between individuals, most people suffering from plantar fasciitis describe the pain as sharp and stabbing in the heel. Symptoms generally tend to be worse in the morning and after long periods of sitting or standing.
